Incentives for AI projects.

Some public incentives can cover part of a digital or artificial intelligence project. Here you find which ones to check and how we help with the technical part.

We do not promise access to any measure: verification is up to the body and your consultant.

What to check

The measures that may concern you.

Each measure has its own requirements, deadlines and expense items. The body's official notice always prevails.

National tax credit (MIMIT)

Transizione 5.0

It can cover investments in equipment and software for digital and energy transition, with precise requirements on energy savings.

To verify: whether the measure is open, which expense items are eligible and which certifications are needed.

Local calls, often for SMEs in the province

Chamber of Commerce vouchers

They can cover part of consulting and digital technology costs, including AI-related ones.

To verify: opening dates, amounts and eligible suppliers vary from one Chamber to another.

Regional grants

Regional innovation calls

They can support digitalisation projects, staff training and new investments.

To verify: each Region has its own calendar, often with short application windows.

Invitalia and the Incentives Portal

Other national measures

There may be instruments for SMEs and new businesses that include digital expenses.

To verify on the Incentives Portal, which gathers the open measures in one place.

Our role

We prepare the technical part.

Your consultant handles the application. We give them everything about the project.

Technical description of the project

We write what we build, with which technologies and for which process. It is the part the call often asks for in detail.

Technical reports

We prepare reports on the project and its results, when the measure requires them.

Clear quotes

One-off and recurring costs itemised separately, so your consultant knows what may qualify.

  1. 1

You tell us about the project

In a free call we understand what you want to build and in which region the company is based.

  2. 2

    The person decides

    Your consultant verifies

Your accountant or grants consultant checks requirements and deadlines.

  3. 3

    We prepare the technical part

Project description, itemised quote, technical reports.

  4. 4

    We start the project

We work from the same documentation, so the numbers add up afterwards too.

Good to know

This page is for information only. We do not guarantee that your project qualifies for a measure, nor the amount of any grant. Requirements, deadlines and eligible items must always be checked on the body's official notice, with your consultant.

Frequently asked questions

Does Moneta guarantee that my project qualifies for a call?

No. Checking the requirements is up to the body running the measure and your consultant. We give you the technical documentation and a clear quote.

Who handles the application?

Your consultant or accountant. We work with them and supply the technical part: project description, itemised quote, reports.

How often do you update this page?

Every quarter. The date at the top shows the last check. The official notices of the bodies remain the only valid source.

Can I start the project before knowing whether I get the grant?

It depends on the measure: some admit only expenses incurred after the application. Ask your consultant before signing an order.
