Andrea Ferri Moneta

Founder & CEO of Moneta. Fractional Chief AI Officer.

He studied mathematics and economics and started out as a chartered accountant. Then over seven years at Amazon EU in Prague, on forecasting and capacity optimisation. After that, data strategy at CargoBeamer and IT leadership in Italian logistics and manufacturing groups.

Who we are

Artificial intelligence, made by hand.

Moneta is a small Italian company that builds tailored AI for businesses. We start from the data a company already has and turn it into tools used every day, inside the work already being done.

No off-the-shelf software: every project starts from how that company works, and it goes ahead only if the numbers add up.

Our mission

To bring AI to Italian SMEs in a concrete way: one step at a time, with numbers that can be checked.

A camera that finds defects, a model that warns before a machine stops, a forecast that helps you buy better. These things already work. The hard part is making them part of everyday work: that is where we operate.

Our vision

AI as normal for a company of twenty people, not a privilege of the big ones.

Data that becomes decisions, decisions based on facts, and technology that grows at the pace of the business instead of imposing its own.
